Niall served in the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) from February 2013 - December 2014 as a Corporal First Class in the Military Police.
He was appointed seizure point in-charge during raids on military bases.He had the privilege of mounting Guard-of-Honour parades for visiting heads-of-state at the Istana Palace.

He was also a member of the SAF Anti-Riot Force and a frequent emcee at nationwide military events.He was awarded the Regimental Sergeant Major Coin as recognition of his contributions.
